AUSTRALIA’S STANDARD OF LIVING HAS PLUMMETED – AND NO, YOU’RE NOT CRAZY FOR THINKING SO!

Short of highway robbery, nothing makes you poorer than inflation, and right now, Australia’s inflation is soaring.

According to the Consumer Price Index (CPI), inflation is at 3.5% for the year, but in real terms, this number is little more than a well-crafted lie.

Just one more rigged government number amongst many.

The CPI is calculated by assigning relative weight to different categories of goods. It’s done using a set of complex formulas, most of which are specifically designed to deceive you.

Take fuel prices, for example.

The price of petrol is ‘weighted’ in the CPI at just 3.3%.

Now if you are someone who happens to catch the bus every day, then that MAY make some kind of sense.

However, if you are like the rest of us and use a car to drive to work each day, then a 3.3% weighting is an absolute joke.

It doesn’t take a maths genius to work out that fuel costs make up a lot more of a person’s weekly budget than 3.3%.

The CPI completely ignores this reality.

The same way it ignores people’s soaring household debt, mortgage interest payments, cost of housing/assets and stagnant wages!

The bottom line is that none of the CPI figures come close to being accurate. Just do the maths for yourself.

The price of a used car went up 21% over the past year.

Houses went up 18%.

Fuel costs went up 60%, while the cost of timber rose 50 to 100%, steel by 30 to 60% and concrete, 20 to 40%.

Wheat went up 37%, corn 21%, sugar 20%, and the price of a cup of coffee should hit $7 by the end of the year.

All that’s without even looking at things like ‘shrinkflation’, where companies reduce the size of a product and disguise it with fancy new packaging.

And that’s just what we BUY. Take a look at the hikes we’ve seen in rents, utilities, land tax and insurance. Are you starting to get the idea?

Why would governments lie? Well, let’s just go with the obvious.

Imagine you are a government, who has racked up eye-watering amounts of debt and printed far too many dollars, to fund a bunch of useless ‘green’ projects and UN-directed ‘woke’ programs.

Along the way, you devalued your currency, set inflation soaring, destroyed small business, wiped out the middle class and impoverished an entire population.

I’m no Einstein of course, but all this may be something a government might want to hide.

As far as ‘conflicts of interest’ go, putting governments in charge of our economic data and figures, must rank as one of the worst ideas in history!

THE ‘POWER OF THE PEOPLE’ HAS THEM RUNNING SCARED!

The Queensland government reversed course today, lifting mandates on most venues, despite last week labelling anyone who questioned them as an anti-vaxxer.

The corporate media have, of course, gone nuts, burying their lead with alarmist headlines on skyrocketing case numbers, deaths and new variants.

Ho hum. Some things never change.

What no media outlet will say, however, is that this unexpected ‘change of heart’ was almost certainly sparked by last week’s protests against the Bill extending emergency powers/measures another 6 months.

It mirrored moves made in Canada earlier this year, when even the most hard-line Premiers, unexpectedly lifted mandates and restrictions across their states.

Anyone paying attention knew instantly that their sudden backflip was caused, not by new health advice from science we have never seen, but by the unparalleled success of the Canadian Trucker Convoy and the mass popular support it inspired worldwide.

Here in Australia, millions took to the road throughout February in ‘Convoys to Canberra’ that rocked the nation.

This was followed in March by the epic Convoy to Brisbane protests held outside Queensland Parliament, as the Government passed the deeply unpopular extension of Emergency powers’ Bill.

As the debate drew to a close last Thursday, MPs’ words were drowned out by the furious protest happening outside.

Not a single MP sitting in the House that day was left in any doubt as to just how furious ordinary Queenslanders were at the extensions of these authoritarian powers.

And this was no rag-tag bunch of Soros-funded activists, or Antifa tragics, but a true movement of ‘the People’ against their government and their representatives in Parliament.

The stuff of nightmares for globalists worldwide.

I will never forget the feeling in the House that day, as government MPs struggled to keep up the façade of indifference and disdain.

The whole atmosphere, inside and outside the House, was absolutely electric!

Someone even said jokingly, that you could smell the ‘spirit of revolt’ in the air.

Those controlling things behind the scenes are NOT stupid.

They know, better than anyone, how quickly the ‘contagion’ of rebellion can spread – like a virus. If left unchecked, it could prove impossible to stop altogether and that’s what they need to avoid at all costs.

Don’t ever let them tell you ‘the people’ are powerless, because it simply isn’t true and I reckon today proved it.

So let’s take this as a ‘win’ and use it as a launching pad to keep fighting until every last mandate, draconian law and restriction has been consigned to the dustbin of history, permanently.
